The Alliance for Business and Training (AB&T) serves as the operational staff for the Northeast Tennessee Workforce Investment Board in Tennessee's Local Workforce Investment Area 1 (LWIA-1).  The NETWIB (Northeast Tennessee Workforce Investment Board) members consist of businesses, educational institutions, labor organizations, community organizations, economic development agencies, and local residents.

 

The Northeast Tennessee Workforce Investment Board's (NETWIB) strategies for meeting the challenges and opportunities of our regional workforce needs are aimed at helping employers find and retain qualified workers and preparing workers with the skills necessary to secure employment and opportunities for career advancement. The NETWIB’s strategies are to provide employer focus services, enhance universal access to Career Centers, leverage all available resources and provide training to in/out-of school youth
