Alliance for Business & Training, Inc (AB&T) is a community based not for profit corporation with its administrative office located in Elizabethton, Tennessee. The mission is to create and sustain a workforce development system which promotes Economic Development; meets employer needs
and is responsive to changing labor market demands, community economic growth and participants'
AB&T has provided services to the residents and employers of Northeast Tennessee since 1984 and strives towards creative and innovative solutions to keep Tennesseans and American employed.
AB&T serves as staff to the Northeast Tennessee Local Workforce Development Board. AB&T also serve as fiscal agent and administrative entity for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for the eight counties of Northeast Tennessee that include Carter, Hancock, Hawkins, Greene, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, & Washington.
AB&T is a not-for-profit corporation designed to provide employment, training and educational services to those who are most in need and can benefit from the services. As a community resource, AB&T enables individuals to be job ready and to compete in the current labor market.
To enhance economic development in Northeast Tennessee by providing guidance and resources to meet employment needs.
